PRODUCT FEATURES

1.Good weatherability, virtually unaffected by sunlight, rain, snow and ozone 

2.Neutral cure-suitable for use on metals, coated glass, aluminum panels, terracotta panels, concrete materials, galvanized steel and many other substrates.

3.Extension/compression movement capability of up to ±25 percent of the original joint width

4.Good resistance to temperature extremes, stable and flexible over the temperature range from –50 to +150 ℃

5.Good unprimed adhesion to a wide variety of building materials  

6. Easy of application-ready to use as supplied  

7. Good compatibility with other neutral silicone sealants

 

COLOURS  

998 is available in black, gray, white and other customized colours.

 

PACKAGING

998 is available in disposable cartridges (net 300ml) and sausages (net 590ml)

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE

998 should be stored at or below 27℃ in original unopened containers. It has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacture.

 

LIMITATIONS

998 should not be applied:

As structural sealant;

To the materials that bleed oils , plasticizers or solvents, such as impregnated wood, oil-based caulks;

In totally confined spaces as sealant requires atmospheric moisture for cure;

 To frost laden or damp surfaces;

For continuous water immersion;

When substrate surface temperature below 4℃ or over 50℃ to copper, zinc or lead coated surfaces.
